Min Yu

I am Min, and I am the gym manager and a trainer at UNREAL, but most people know me as Ben's wife! Before transitioning to my role as a full-time trainer last year, I was managing the gym alongside Ben & Gareth while completing my Business Degree from Singapore Management University (majoring in Marketing & Strategic Management). After spending two years exploring different industries like hospitality, finance and digital marketing, I realized I did not want that life for myself and that being in the gym brought me so much joy! I've always been passionate about sports and fitness. Growing up, I took swimming lessons, played tennis, represented Singapore overseas on the National Cheerleading team, and played water polo for my school - being active and a member of a team has always been a huge part of my life. In 2019, I took part in my first "solo" competition where I represented Singapore at the Static Monster World Strongman Championships in Australia and took home 1st place. It was as much a win for me as it was for UNREAL: everyone in the gym encouraged me with words and by example. They pushed me to train on days when I didn't feel like it and helped me stay on my diet when it wasn't easy (I love food).
